Cookie policy
This is a translation for convenience. The binding version of this document is the Spanish one: the Spanish version. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish text prevails.
In one line: this site sets no first-party cookies, runs no analytics and does not profile you. That is why there is no banner — there is nothing to consent to.
1. Why there is no banner
Cookie banners exist because article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive requires your consent before storing or reading information on your device — unless doing so is strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for.
There is nothing here beyond that. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no heatmaps, no embedded social widgets, no third-party fonts or scripts: typefaces and code are served from our own domain, precisely so that loading the page tells nobody else that you were here.
Showing a banner asking about cookies that do not exist is compliance theatre. We do not do it.
2. The only two things stored in your browser
Two values in your browser’s local storage, which are not even cookies — they are never sent to the server with any request:

Both exist only because you chose something and expect it to stick. They are exempt from consent as user preferences, and clearing them breaks nothing: the page falls back to its defaults.
3. When you pay: Paddle
The checkout page loads the component of Paddle.com Market Ltd, which processes the payment and acts as the seller. Paddle sets its own cookies, needed to complete the transaction and for its fraud controls.
They are third-party cookies we do not decide about, and they only appear if you open the checkout page. They are governed by Paddle’s cookie policy.
Browsing the rest of the site loads nothing from Paddle.
4. When you sign in: your account
account.aseptic.dev is the identity portal, operated by Kinde Inc. Like any sign-in
system, it needs session cookies to keep you authenticated: they are strictly necessary
and cannot be refused without losing the ability to sign in. They are not used for
advertising or cross-site tracking.
5. The desktop application
Aseptic installed on your machine is not a browser with cookies, but it does write to your disk: preferences, your local catalogue and an installation identifier. None of that leaves your machine unless you turn diagnostics on, and diagnostics stay off until you decide otherwise on first launch. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
6. How to clear all of it
From your browser’s “clear browsing data” option: that removes this site’s local storage along with Paddle’s and your account’s cookies. If you want to go further, every browser can block third-party cookies; the whole site keeps working, and only the checkout page will stop operating.
7. Changes
If we ever add anything that stores information on your device, it will be announced here with its date before it goes live, and if it needs your consent you will be asked. Questions: info@aseptic.dev.
